What is Glycerin
Glycerin is a viscous, colourless and odourless liquid that has a sweet taste. It is hygroscopic in nature. In cosmetics, it is moisturizing, improves smoothness, provides lubrication, and acts as a humectant and solvent. It also prevents formulations from drying out. It is derived from renewable vegetable oils. It is readily biodegradable and GMO-free.
